**Alleyways City Cleaner**

Napier, New Zealand

***Permanent position working 42 hours per week (Sundayto Thursday between the hours of 7.30am and 4.30pm).***

Our team of exceptional cleaners are seeking a highly motivated and experienced person to ensure the alleyways, walkways and NCC bus stops of Napier are clean, free of rubbish and well maintained.

You will need to have a passion for working outdoors and getting your hands dirty no matter the weather.

**Duties include:**

* Removing debris, weeds and rubbish from access ways, alleyways, steps and bus shelters

* Clean and wash down bus stops as required

* Reporting all graffiti

* Refix loose fencing sheets

**If you have:**

* Previous labouring experience

* A full clean driver's licence

* Have excellent verbal communication and literacy skills

* Knowledge of how to use and care for machinery and cleaning equipment

* Can perform heavy labouring work

To be successful in this role, you need to have a reasonable level of fitness and be healthy with an ability to deal with the refuse of all kinds. You will also need to be Health and Safety conscious to ensure you keep yourself and the community safe. You also need to hold a clean, full drivers licence.

Please note, this role works 5 days a week, including weekends and public holidays with Friday and Saturday as rostered days off. We invite applications from those who understand and are available to work these hours.
