**Cuivre River Electric Cooperative, Missouri's largest distribution cooperative, is now hiring a Facilities Attendant at the Lake Saint Louis location.**

**SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTIONS**

- Perform custodial duties in the general offices as needed.

- Maintain building and perform miscellaneous duties on grounds; inspect conditions of office interior and exterior, heating, air conditioning and other equipment and inform supervisor of repairs when needed.

- Perform courier duties when requested by Supervisor, Building and Grounds.

- Assist with custodial duties at other offices as needed.

**TASKS AND DUTIES**

- Check and verify invoices for cleaning supplies before presenting to Manager, Branch Offices for approval and payment.

- Minor landscaping duties will be required in order to preserve an attractive appearance at branch offices.

- Replace burned out and broken lamps/ballast throughout the branch facilities.

- Perform minor maintenance of building and equipment at offices as needed.

- Operate cleaning and minor construction equipment while performing tasks and duties.

- Assume other tasks and responsibilities as required or requested.

- Headquarters: Perform duties as assigned by the Supervisor, Building and Grounds.

**EDUCATION:**

High school diploma or equivalent required.

**EXPERIENCE:**

Experience in operation and maintenance of cleaning equipment and light construction tools and custodial duties extremely helpful.

**JOB KNOWLEDGE:**

Must know how to operate vacuum sweeper, floor polisher and small power tools. Must know how to perform basic maintenance on equipment.

**ABILITIES AND SKILLS:**

Must be able to exhibit positive image of Cooperative when dealing with consumers and the general public. Must be able to set priorities and work independently.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:**

* Occasionally ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like.

* Constantly moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.

* Occasionally remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.

* Constantly moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.

* Occasionally adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.

* Constantly communicating with others to exchange information.

* Constantly repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

* Occasionally operating machinery and/or power tools.

* Occasionally Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment.

**WORKING CONDITIONS:**

General office conditions when indoors; occasional outside work required. Infrequent overtime. Occasional lifting of up to fifty pounds required.
